From Pilates Reformers to a circus of props for strength training to plie jumps at the barre, our team of expert instructors will work your whole body across three foundational pillars: SWEAT, STRENGTH & SOUL. We believe a little bit from each every week is the magic sauce behind unleashing your biggest, baddest, most-inspired self, which is why we offer a complementary 20-minute Find Your Formula. Together, we’ll customize your action plan of change to jumpstart real results and along the way, our studio will be here, helping you track your progress and stay motivated. Meet Our Instructors
Tessa is our Chief Boss Babe. She’s been dreaming about building our Maven community since she got up the guts to leave the corporate world a handful of years ago. She’s obsessed with collecting adventures with her babe, learning every day, loving hard, and doing scary things.
Mission: Teach you something about your body you can apply outside of the studio in every single class.
Expect: Passion and intensity.
Rocky is our Chief Misfit Officer. She has a quirky sense of humor, laughs loudly, and talks supersonic fast. When she’s not brainstorming marketing strategies for Maven or sweating in a studio, you can find her soaking up desolate wilderness with a fly rod and her pups or jetsetting around the world.
Mission: Challenge your capabilities by strengthening from the inside out.
Expect: Lots of energy and a sore core.
Jen is no bull, but with a big heart. She gets to the point, gets shit done, and makes you feel magical throughout the entire journey. If she’s not changing the landscape of Maven for the better, you can find her on one of her many bikes (road or dirt) or enjoying the tastes of the town.
Mission: Work smarter, not harder.
Expect: Your wildest dreams to come true with the wave of her wand.
Sidney is our Community Lead and is ready to make Maven Strong your favorite place to be! She’s got a knack for remembering your name after a brief encounter and will always have an oat milk latte or bubbly water close by. She loves chatting about the SLC restaurant scene and what you thought about the latest movie release. Expect her to hop in a class with you soon!
Mission: Collecting genuine friendships.
Expect: To fall in love with your new gal pal inside (and outside) of the studio!
Paige is our CREATE Community Manager. She is a body positive, recently discovered gay girly who loves cultivating her local community through thoughtful and intentional events and programming. When she isn’t busy putting on a badass CREATE event, you can find her riding her bike around the city to new or favorite local food and coffee spots or on the next road trip or concert adventure with her girlfriend and pup Sully.
Mission: Spread the sparkle
Expect: Her to be your mom-away-from-home-mom
Zoey is our Sparkler and just like the name, she truly does make our space more sparkly! Whether it’s treating you like a the VIP you are with a grin or shining up the reformers or helping coordinate a community event, Zoey is always a delight.
Mission: Make the world a brighter place.
Expect: Empathy, openness, and creativity where you find her.
Maria is our Community Manager, managing everything from short term (click here to check them out) to long term residential rentals and commercial rentals. She is without a doubt thorough in every sense of the word, bubbly, dedicated, and fiercely independent. An impressive master of her own fate, we have never known Maria to be incapable of anything. But hold up, let’s not forget to talk about her newest obsession… her precious golden retriever, Chili, the true motivator behind her daily success.
Mission: This is my life and I will thrive!

Allison is our Queen of Technical. As a modern dancer and long time instructor, she will give you minor adjustments that will change your world.
Mission: Getting you to understand the fundamentals.
Expect: Be prepared for a deceptive challenge.
Bailey is a passionate dancer with a BFA in Dance from Westminster College with a BFA in Dance. She has had the privilege of performing with Brine Dance, the Deseret Experimental Opera, and the NOVA Chamber Music Series. As an actor, she played “The Doll” in Steve Yockey’s Bellwether at Westminster College, and was a chorus member in the Classical Greek Theatre Festival’s production of Prometheus Bound. But we know her best for her love of horror movies, sustainable fashion, and (her attempt at) being the funniest person in the room.
Mission: Make you feel all the good vibes 24-7.
Expect: An equally sweet and salty personality that surprises and delights (with a side of giggles).
Bree is a born and bred City of Salter who grew up enjoying the best parts of Utah’s great outdoors. When this jet setting mama of three isn’t lifting weights or challenging herself with a new sport, she’s conjuring up challenging workouts that are guarantee to make you cry… for more! Bree’s goal in every workout is to ensure you work hard and push yourself past your perceived limits to feel stronger, more confident, and always successful.
Mission: Always chasing the sunshine.
Expect: A sly combo of high-intensity alongside challenging, slower-paced moves that tone muscle head to toe
Candace is known for her sweet demeanor, until she sneakily makes you shake; you’ll love the relief she grants after a difficult exercise though! She holds a kinesiology degree from the University of Utah, but when she’s not in the studio you can catch her in the mountains; either, mountain biking, dirt biking, snowboarding or camping with her husband and two dogs.
Mission: Beauty is created from the inside out.
Expect: Musical distractions to help ease the burden of what’s to come.
Catherine grew up in the City of Salt kicking athletic arse and taking names until she ran faster than Mighty Mouse on the track at the UofU and graduated with a degree in Therapeutic Recreation (we didn’t even know this kind of magic existed). In addition to working closely with OCD and eating disorder patients, coaching high school Track & Field, and playing endless sports throughout her career, she is also passionate about Pilates–which is exactly why we snagged her. This go-go-go mama is always moving and she’s guaranteed to make you feel her enthusiastic rhythm, too.
Mission: Don’t Stop Movin’
Expect: A workout that skips the unnecessary flare and focuses on delivering the REAL goods (yep, the moves you love to hate because you feel it days later).
Heather is a professional when it comes to making you feel comfortable in your own body. She’s been around the block a number of times with her own injuries, so she knows every modification. When she’s not teaching, she’s chasing three munchkins from the soccer fields to the mountains.
Mission: Keeping you uninjured while you burn.
Expect: Upbeat pace with a killer knowledge base of millions of moves.
Jen loves what she does, which is why you can find her planning and scheming up different workouts at all hours of the day. The studio is her haven away from her wild banshee boys she’s constantly chasing.
Mission: To give you something different every single class.
Expect: Moves that leave you thanking her (or cursing her) the next day.
You know Josa’s sweet smiling face, but do you know her evil twin who makes your legs? You should come meet her. On her off days, she’s letting her inner hippy out somewhere in the mountains or at a music festival.
Mission: Help you realize that self-love isn’t selfish, it’s critical for your happiness.
Expect: Time to get serious and focus deep.
Liisa is a stickler for details. You will get attention to the finer tuned adjustments in her classes. She loves building to more advanced moves, so be ready. When she’s not teaching you, she’s enjoying the great outdoors with her husband and rug rats.
Mission: To teach you a move you never thought you could do.
Expect: Progressions to build on every week for maximum results.
Lindsay started practicing yoga as a way to improve her own mental health, but after completing instructor training in Columbia, she realized that the notion of being able to do hard things; like a headstand, this knowledge was meant to be shared, much like her existing love of skiing, which she also teaches. Clearly teaching is her core passion, but when she’s not opening your eyes to the wonders of movement, Lindsay is always on the go, from golfing to traveling to hanging with her two BFFs, ie. her sisters, but on those off days when she’s snuggled at home, she’ll be with her fiance and their older gentleman cat and baby boy kitten reading a mystery novel, watching psycho thriller movies, and listening to DMB (IYKYK).
Mission: Reminding you that “you are a match for your mountains”
Expect: A soft and warm space that feels curated just for you
Sammy is our sparkle queen, which means she gives you all the feels. This sweet and sassy babe comes to us from Seattle and New York, bringing with her lots of sweaty knowledge from both coasts. When she’s not pulsing and preaching at the studio, she’s securing media placements for her clients as a lifestyle publicist.
Mission: To remind you what a bad ass you are.
Expect: All the vibes, a whole lotta burn, and a strong chance of singing along while you sweat.
